Partners in Excellence
The professionals of IQ@work consider themselves “Partners in Excellence”. The worlds most renowned consultant, David Maister, best describes “excellence” in his book "True professionalism" as: Doing what needs to be done in the best possible way. This may sounds quite logical but is really not always the case. Often solutions are technically perfect but poor in user-friendliness or even impossible to work with. Or the project objectives are no longer in line with the organizational objectives. In these situations clearly not all that had to be done has in fact been done, and certainly not in the best possible way.
